We will look to keep our community safe by having greater powers over our Police Service to deploy the right number of highly trained Officers where needed across Southend, whilst doing everything possible to reduce criminal activity in the first place.  We believe that providing an environment that leads to people fulfilling their potential making a living doing what they love will ultimately reduce the motivation for crime.
